Sadie Amara Calvano was born in America. She is most well famous for her performance as Violet Plunkett from the CBS comedy 'Mom.' Calvano originates from California and was first attracted to gymnastics. She later chose to become an actress. Her first screen appearance was the 2010 episode of CBS's 'NCIS'. The biographical crime thriller film J Edgar was her big screen debut just a year after. Over the years, she has established herself among the most promising young actresses in the industry today. She was nominated in 2011 for a Young Artist Award in the category of Outstanding Performance for Young Actresses 11-15 for her role in NCIS. The actress was also nominated 2013 for a Young Artist Award, this time for her appearance as a guest in the comedy series of Disney XD "Kickin' it".
